Through mobile clinics provided basic health services to 504 patients, learned more about community needs and made plans for long-term development projects in Tena, Ecuador.

Shadowed doctors through General Medicine, Odontology, Nutrition and Pharmacy areas.
Gave educational health presentations and workshops.
Built house for handicapped family in need.
Visited touristic sites in Ecuador.

Helped through the logistics of the design challenge of developing a cast with determined/provided materials for human ergonomics workshop.

Medical Summer Intern
June 2018
Community work & workshops/seminars, involved through many areas, some of which included patient assistance at the ER department, Pre Op, intraoperative and Post Op assistance with trained physicians and nurses, and ward rounds and care of inpatients.
Achievements:
Internship program lasted 4 weeks of intense work with approximately 40 hours of community work a week and obtained CPR & DEA certification.

Formed part of the volunteer team of the ADRA Department of the Adventist Association of the West.
Recieved calls and visitors, organized donated food & supplies, collaborated with other volunteers and delivered donations to organizations and the needy who requested such.
Served the community in the months of May and June 2017 for 40 hours.
